About

Three generations
on the same mountainside.

More than four decades tending the same slope of Mont-Saint-Grégoire. The first generation planted, the second transformed. Today, Mélanie and Alexandre carry it on.

The story

A family, a land.

Jean-Marc planted apple trees in the 1950s. Denis turned the apples into ciders, giving rise to the cidery, and the crêperie was added to round out a full day at the orchard.

Three generations have taken turns on the site. The first one planted. The second one transformed: press, cidery, crêperie. The third one innovated with the café-bistro, the shop, and several new products.

The orchard sits on a southwest slope of Mont-Saint-Grégoire, with natural drainage and gentle sun exposure. The apple trees age well, the children come back, and so do the visitors.

The next generation

Mélanie and Alexandre.

Today, the orchard is in their hands. They carry on what the family planted, with the same obsession for quality and a desire to open the site more widely.

With them, the site lives in four seasons: pick-your-own from June to October, cidery and shop year-round, events from bloom to harvest. A team committed all year long.

Mélanie

Hosting, groups, the shop, and the team.

She's the one who opens the door, recommends varieties, and keeps the rhythm of the season. Under her watch, the shop stays open year-round, even when the trees are sleeping.

Beyond customer happiness, it's the team she works with that especially holds her heart.

Alexandre

The orchard and the cidery.

He knows every row, picks the apples that go to the press, and blends the cuvées with the idea that a cider should taste of the place, not just the apple.

From winter pruning to the last October pick, he decides when we start and when we stop. The cidery is his kitchen. One project doesn't wait for the next.

Hubert

The next chapter at ITAQ.

Hubert Jourdain, the eldest son of Mélanie and Alexandre, is currently studying at ITAQ in Saint-Hyacinthe in Agricultural Business Management and Technologies, with the goal of taking care of the orchard, the foreign workers, the maintenance, and everything that follows. He will finish his studies in 2028.

Hubert has always been present at the orchard. Born in the middle of apple season, he was steeped from birth in the passion of his parents and grandparents. In the office in his mother's arms, or on a tractor with his grandfather, everyone already knew him.
